When my daughter entered the tween years, I started noticing subtle changes.
Not bad changes.
Normal changes.
More independence.
More opinions.
More friendships.
More of her own world.
And while part of me celebrated her growth, another part of me quietly wondered:
How do I stay close while letting her become herself?
Because that's the real challenge of the tween years.
Not managing behaviour.
Not surviving mood swings.
Not getting through friendship drama.
The real challenge is learning how to stay connected to your daughter as she becomes her own person.
I created the Stay Close Circle™ because I believe distance is not inevitable.
The tween years are not a waiting room for the teenage years.
